Can your Back Pains be related to Adrenal Stress?

Can your Back Pains be related to Adrenal Stress?

Lower back pain is the most common cause of job related disability and leading contributor to missed work. Low back pain may be due to degenerative arthritis, herniated disc, sprain or strains and even imbalances of the hips, knees and feet. Americans spend over 50 Billion dollars per year trying to diagnose this pain via X-ray, CT Scans and MRIs. By the time I see most patients, they have tried home therapies, pain killers, anti-inflammatories and even surgery! The cure could be something you can not see on any scan. We live in a world of excessive stress, worry and anxiety. These actions cause a tremendous amount of load on our Adrenal glands which functions to balance the body thru hormones such as Adrenalin and Cortisol. Cortisol helps balance blood sugar and inflammation so when Adrenalin is over-stimulated... your body has less ability to fight inflammation. This condition can be easily felt by palpating the "hypertonic" tone to the kidney area of the back, which also triggers the Shoulders to rise due to the "sympathetic" charge to the nervous system. Medical doctors do not recognize this unless it becomes pathological and then prescribe medicine that compounds the severity of the cascading problems in the body!

Warning Signs and Symptoms:

1) Dizziness upon standing

2) Headaches across the forehead or behind the eyes

3) Eyelid twitching

4) Your body jumps or twitches as you are falling asleep

5) Bright lights bother you eyes

6) Tired feet at end of day or pain in the heel (plantar fasciitis)

7) LOW BACK PAIN!

The muscles supporting much of the lower back are related to the adrenal glands.  When these imbalances are ignored the normal biomechanics of the spine is lost and you are an accident waiting to happen! This is when I get most calls and you say "My Back just went out!" I may review your X-rays demonstrating chronic degeneration that has been manifesting since adolescence and you want me to fix it with one twist of the spine. There are a number of treatments I perform and exercises you may have to do to combat the everyday pounding your body takes. Do yourself a favor and get checked and treated regularly so that your body does not breakdown and degenerate before it is too late.
